Morgan Rogers

We couldn’t turn the cash down as a championship club so we should feel hard done by . The cash could be all the difference for us
Will we be saying the same when we sell VdB, Hackney, Jones, Forss etc?

No point having decent players if you don't actually achieve anything while they are contracted to you.

Still don't understand why we chose to sell after 6 months when he'd have arguably been worth more in the summer anyway and we'd have had the benefit of him playing for us.

He’s a really good player, he did well against Wolves at the weekend as well. Looks very strong on the ball.
Hats off to Emery to be honest. I thought Rogers was good but didn’t really see it, him slotting in at the top end of the Premier League.

Put it this way, if I was managing a top 5 club and someone gave me £20m to spend in January on anyone in the world, I wouldn’t have laser focused on Morgan Rogers.

Less than 5 hours of football in the Prem. One start. One assist.
Do you think maybe it’s a bit too soon to declare him good enough to play for City?

Always those itching to say ‘I was right’….. Reminds me of the Barlaser discussion earlier in the season when half the fans were desperate to declare they’d always known he was a great player, only for him to go off the boil and the other half to then declare they’d always known he was ***** 😂

Been there what, 3 months, and Boro fans are jerking this guy off 😂😂

Hasn’t played 10 matches and yet to score a goal. And somehow he’s going to end up a City regular. Bravo 👏🏻

Funny how people feel perfectly justified writing off a player as league one at best after 45 minutes, but when someone is our most creative player for months on end, is bought by one of the best teams in the country, then despite claims that "he'll just rot in their reserves", plays regularly and thrives....then it's "stop being so premature".🤷

Not only a barometer of how much people know about football it seems, but also how desperate people are to avoid admitting they're wrong.

It would be nice wouldn’t it if someone came along and said
‘Fair enough, I made a bad call - good luck to the lad….’

By the same formula people are writing off Luke Thomas etc.

I think we had villas pants down with the price paid tbh.

Yesterday was his third consecutive league start for a team 4th in the Premier League.
