That’s what I said he was already in the prem at a title winning side not playing so now he’s back at a non title winning side still not playing.
But on family life changing money ...
Wouldn't you ?

Money in itself is not success, it's how it can change your life. Having financial security for your family is massive, it's only a short career and most players only have a small window of opportunity to gain that security. It's funny how times change, people only think about money as being successful. I would have played for Hartlepool/Darlo for free if I'd been good enough, sporting glory over money.
Great business by the club Rogers out Azaz in and a good chunk of loot in the bank, I personally think Azaz looks the better player of the two !
Rogers didn't score a league goal for us until October 21st?Azaz is 2 goals and, I think, an assist ahead of where Rogers was after 5 matches. I'm willing to stand corrected on assists though.
I think we have to at least consider the possibility that we got the better of Villa over these deals. Each club bought one and sold one: maybe we judged this right and they got it wrong? Time will tell.
Anyway, good luck to MR. I'd like to see him do well, and some of the add ons probably relate to appearances. Better luck to Azaz of course.
The thing is, if he’s offered 1 million plus as a signing on fee then maybe 50k plus a week wages, he’s thinking, it’s worth the gamble, he could stay here and get a career threatening injury next week, that’s probably been a factor in his decision making, especially the huge money on offer and he will be thinking he has nothing to lose.I fear for Rogers, without any doubt at all he would have been better advised staying with the Boro for a few seasons until he was a properly established player with a track record.
I still say there was something funny about his transfer, maybe something we don’t know about.
