More political threads than Boro related

I'll admit it. I did kiss a politics once, and I did like it. Please don't judge me for that. I never did it again.

Edit: As much as I hate the BBC I did have to laugh at "I am not a snake, says ex-minister Michael Gove" on their website. I love the idea that he thinks that some people might really think that he is a reptile, so he feels like he has to deny it.

I stopped being a regular when knibs like Expo and other fake personas came along on the wind up and the board became kind of angry and bitter.Before that it was quite a harmonious, funny place to visit.

He's definitely not a real snake mate. Thanks to my mate in the states we already have all of the snakes signed up for the all species, global, revolution that we've been organising. I'd know if there were any real snakes plotting against us. My mate wouldn't stand for it. That snake would be the first up against the wall when the revolution comes. We'd probably have to nail it up to keep it vertical of course.

Thanks Erimus; the fact we get on well despite haing political differences goes to show this board isn't as black and white as Labour = Good and Tories = Bad and vice versa.

It's all about common decency and respect, some people show it regularly in conversations and can have differences of opinion or even disagreements with others but do so respectfully without resorting to personal abuse. Some simply can't do that and have to have the last word so they can feel they 'won'.

There's good and bad here on both sides of the political divide, it's not about political sides but what sort of character/person you are and (so I believe), how you were raised to treat other people.

But anyway enough waffle, what about those airy, fairy centerist tw@ts, what a bunch of absolute *@#$%*@!

It's like a kebab, but the doner meat has been replaced with egg and chewing gum. There's is no salad. Sauce? No. The kebab is shouting and insisting you call it Daddy, but you can't squeeze the word out between hysterical sobs. You soon manage to whimper an apology, but it's too late now. Far too late. It jumps on top of your head, pats you twice quickly on the front of your brow and yells "Good lad!" before enthusiastically hoot-honking over to the beach to stare at seagull remains.

There's some other stuff too, probably.

Erimus and I decided not to talk about music. We just have massive arguments about politics instead. We talk about wheelbarrows occasionally too. It's none of your business WeeGord. I'll be having words with you on the Friday night booze and music thread.

You're doing it again mate. There's no need to be like that. Do you remember the bit upthread where people were talking about tolerance and being civil? I understand your anger mate and I share it but do you really think that someone like Erimus is scum? Because he isn't. Just because he has a different view to you, that doesn't make him a terrible person. He's a nice guy. SJB went a bit OTT there but you don't have to bite every single time Smalltown. Tone it down a bit mate.
