Mobile Networks at the Riverside

I'm with EE, in the North Stand I usually can't use the internet but can get text messages. At half time on the concourse I don't get anything until I go outside.

I'd echo everyone else's experience with O2. In general their signal seems comparatively poor if you are either in a crowd or somewhere remote. The only good thing about them is the lack of roaming charges when you go abroad.

I’m with O2 and currently benefiting from the free use of data abroad. I reckon I’ll change when I get back though as only sim only. Always have issues with signal in large crowds.

I go to the races a bit and like betting on my phone for extra places / offers etc. rather than the bookies. Simply can’t do it at busy meetings unless you can find the occasional data hotspot.

Riverside non existent.

I can use the phone in the North Stand concourse at half time. I use “Talkmobile” which uses the “Vodafone” network. (y)

I’m with o2 and whilst it isn’t great inside the stadium (GRFZ) I do get a signal. Always says I have full 5G but it’s more like the little circle you used to get. I get nothing at half time though unless I go outside.

Only fibre broadband available at home is Virgin so I'm with O2 to get the double data, if they stopped doing that I'd leave. I've pretty much accepted I can't use my phone at the match which is a ball ache for your bets. Can just about send a WhatsApp message if I'm meeting up for a pint afterwards. I'm in the South stand

Also with O2 5G also have the same connection problems which I thought 5G was supposed to fix. But I’m abroad a lot so there’s swings and roundabouts.

EE 4G in the West Upper was non-existent for me on my old phone (iPhone 12) but just got a 15 with 5G and I was astonished at how strong it was at the Pompey game.
