Mo Farah was trafficked to the UK

I've not seen such myself, but what is the rationale for that?

He's should be punished for what was done to him as a 9 year old boy?

They'll all be cranks.

That account that BoroFur linked is just constant anti-vax posting and similar conspiratorial nonsense, the rationale is always ill thought out.

I've found the first half hr of the documentary quite hard actually, to hear what he had to go through as a child with his dad dying and the trafficking

Just watching it now and he has just said ‘the worst thought is somebody in my family was involved in trafficking me’

How do you deal with that?

Brilliant documentary. What a great wife he has. Great to see his Mam is still living and to meet his Family again, to meet his “Aunty”, who took him in and to see the original Mo Farah. Good job he was a brilliant runner though or… Just goes to show how bad it must be in Africa. The Earth’s forgotten continent.

Absolutely awful story. Of course the authorities have quickly put to bed any idea that he could be deported. But I can't help wonder what the reaction would be if it was Mo Farah the waiter or bus driver. At the very least months or years of uncertainty while officials decided their fate and quite possibly unable to work.
Interesting...

@matt_dathan ---- Sir Mo Farah will face no action after revealing he arrived in the UK using someone else's name and gained citizenship with false details. But he is not being given special treatment. Here's why........................

Nice narrative from Matt Dathan but I think the reality is a bit different............................................

I think there some cherry picking of facts in that article. Farah was granted citizenship as a child, and that's why he's not having it revoked because he isn't regarded as complicit in the fraudulent acquisition of that citizenship.

Not that I think the subjects of that article are any less deserving of being allowed to stay.
