We have one striker, as much as they were disliked we certainly havent upgraded on Britt or FletcherI really don't understand the weaker than last season thing.
We lost Johnson, we got ameobi. Forest fans seem to think the same way about him we do about marv.
We lost Britt, Fletcher. Oh no! However will we replace their goals! I mean so far we got uche but as I've said before if a plastic bag was blown onto the field it would contribute more than those two.
We lost saville. Mediocre midfielder. Replaced him with crooks. Jury out.
We've loaned out wing. Good shot lacks mobility. We signed payero. Jury out but u23 caps would suggest a better player than wing.
We lost NML, Bolasie and the bloke who's name I can't even remember. They haven't been replaced. Yet their arrival coincided with our **** form. So no loss whatsoever. I'm sure we'll be able to loan some half arsed premier League winger to drag us down the league if we really need it.
We demonstrably are not weaker than the squad that started last season. And the three wingers contributed to a downturn in form so can't be seen to have improved the club.
I love the stuff about the weather and there is nothing to do from a Reading player!@zorro_mfc According to a close reporter for the club SC Heerenveen it was tweeted out yesterday that he was missing from training and he confirmed within the tweets he's joining up with us before the weekend.
Mitchell van Bergen seems to be about to exchange SC Heerenveen for the English Middlesbrough FC. Former Heerenveen player Joey van den Berg, who also played in the Championship for Reading, thinks the winger should take his chance.
"I think that he can pose a threat in every competition with his speed. Only the hot pace and the matches how quickly they follow each other, that will be his big challenge. How can he handle it physically? But he could do it in football." , says Van den Berg at Radio Camataru . "But the sun shines very little there, I think it rains there 250 days a year."
"They are really fanatical in the north. There is not much there either, the only thing they have is football. You also notice that at Sunderland and Newcastle."

Looks to be formalities now, so yes we've bought him.
We didn't have Bolasie & Kebano until the second half of the season - comparisons need to be made at the same point of the season for me i.e. 4 games in last season with now. We are going to be bringing in at least 2 more players in the next 6 days.We have one striker, as much as they were disliked we certainly havent upgraded on Britt or Fletcher
We have one untested winger, Ameobi looks to be out long term. Significantly weaker than Bolasie/Kebano and I highly doubt they were the reason for our drop in form
Squad is significantly weaker than last season, we can barely name a full bench as it stands
Britt and Fletcher were both rubbish. Come on. You really think uche and coburn are a downgrade? Both look better players far more suited to Warnock's style of play.We have one striker, as much as they were disliked we certainly havent upgraded on Britt or Fletcher

Do you think Uche and Coburn will command 15m & 7m transfers throughout their careers?Britt and Fletcher were both rubbish. Come on. You really think uche and coburn are a downgrade? Both look better players far more suited to Warnock's style of play.
Bolasie and kebano did not improve us. Certainly I'd be happier with a winger but they put Johnson out of the team, who was more effective than either of them. The big reason we went down the table was Tav was out. But the three we brought in weren't very good or effective. Saying we are a weaker squad because we lack three players who pulled us down the league is not a strong argument.
We'll get bolasie on deadline day I imagine. Last three deadline days he's been sat there making mournful eyes at any club that might be interested. No one seems to be.
Of course they are a downgrade. Ikpeazu has spent the majority of his career in the lower leagues with a pretty average goal return at even that level. Coburn has made a handful of appearances and will probably end up on loan in league two if we get another few strikers inBritt and Fletcher were both rubbish. Come on. Who on Earth put Jones on the pitch? What worries me is if Warnock gets 'his type of player' in instead. He didn't think Jones was ready, an he's been the brightest spark we have. Makes you wonder what his 'type' is, an in my eyes that's tall and decent defensively.
Both very good players, just suffered from being under the wrong management at key times in their careersBlimey. All this hidden love for Britt and Fletcher. Didn't hear much if it last season.
Isn’t he also our top scorer in the last 15 years? You do know who Britt assombalonga is? Remember the bloke who would sky the ball from two yards out and then grin gormlessly. That's him. Here's a reminder.
Fed up of Nobby's nonsenseReally? I missed that. Surprised we didn't go in for him. Or maybe he turned us down!
