Millwall at home

Plymouth away won't be in summer time... bonfire weekend away trip might only be for the hardy travellers.

Good Friday away at Southampton - might mean a few people spending Easter on the south coast - with a big game on Easter Monday at the Riverside v Sheff Wed. Well it ought to have been a big game but they will probably be struggling under EFL sanctions by then, knowing the way they are being run these days.

Away game on Boxing Day

November will be a tough month for Boro away fans following Plymouth with another long trip to Bristol City on Sat 25th November.

That looks like a tough end to the season with Blackburn H, Southampton A, Sheff Wed H, Swansea H, Hull C A, Ipswich A, Leeds H, Cardiff A, Watford H

Good to see so many long away trips on weekends. This is very helpful to fans - but in the past police have intervened wanting the closer games on weekends where there are the most supporters on the go.

I feel for Cardiff fans - facing a Tuesday night jaunt to the Riverside on Tues 3rd October.

Looking at the fixtures as a whole it is difficult to see what you'd class as a nice run of games.

I think this seasons Championship will be tougher than ever and only further highlights the opportunity missed last season.

That is mad, I wonder who thought that would be ok for the Cardiff fans to travel up here midweek.
They don't travel in numbers - I wonder if that has been part of the thinking. But I recall when Boro were away to Cardiff on a Tuesday night - that is when a lot of travelling Boro fans started to ask for a priority points system.

I agree. First impressions: it does look much harder on paper at least.

Would have been nice to have had Sunlun at home on Boxing day.
Sky will mess up most of those fixtures so I`m not booking any nights or weekends off just yet.(y)

Reminds me of 1991/92. 1-0 win over Millwall, was it Bruce’s Millwall? Cooper might’ve been playing for them that day. Think Sir Robbie Mustoe slotted in the only goal in front of the Holgate.

We will attach more importance to games as the league plays out.
It looks more like an old Division One League rather than second tier.
There`s some "big" teams in that list.
I reckon they`l be a clamour for away tickets again this season.
Looking forward to it.

Yes, lots of memories around that fixture. The Return of Sir Bruce. Hendrie's weaving long run for home and goal into the Holgate.

Just noticed Norwich City away - Tues 24th October. That will be a hard game to get in midweek. A long trip midweek in what will probably be school half term hols.
