Why are there games at 3pm on Fri 29 Dec? That's not a Bank Holiday is it?

Oh yes - hadn't noticed that. They are cramming in a lot of festive games - presumably Sat 6th Jan is 3rd Round FA Cup.
Sat 23rd, WBA home Tues 26th, Rotherham away Fr 29th, Huddersfield away Mon 1st Jan - Coventry at home.

Christmas doesn't look too bad for travel.

2 home games and 2 away games at Rotherham and Huddersfield so not far to travel for xmas games.

Perhaps just as well coming straight after Swansea City away - Sat 16th.

Boxing Day in New York (Stadium) - I imagine that is going to be a much sought after away trip again.

Also would try and factor in that we are probably going to be on telly a lot this season. Leeds, Leicester, Southampton… I’m sure they’ll be favourites but we will be right up there again. I mean, all I’m saying is maybe don’t get too bogged down with our dates and travel plans as Sky are going to change quite a lot. They’re going to want to show the Champions, aren’t they.

According to gov.uk it isn't a bank Holiday - I wonder if they have put the wrong time in as if it were a Saturday.

Safe to say those two back to back away fixtures over the Xmas period will be very very popular. Lots of priority points will be required.

I think a lot of points will have been banked by people from first away trips to Coventry, WBA, Blackburn, Sheff Wed. Not to forget Sunderland 7th October - will be interesting to see if Sunderland offer more tickets this season.

Yes, lots of memories around that fixture. The Return of Sir Bruce. Hendrie's weaving long run for home and goal into the Holgate.

We also played Millwall at home in 1987 - first game - 1-1 - it was a promotion season.

Plymouth away won't be in summer time... bonfire weekend away trip might only be for the hardy travellers.

Good Friday away at Southampton - might mean a few people spending Easter on the south coast - with a big game on Easter Monday at the Riverside v Sheff Wed. Well it ought to have been a big game but they will probably be struggling under EFL sanctions by then, knowing the way they are being run these days.

I have heard that Southampton parkrun is one of the biggest in the country. There could be a bumper Boro presence on the Saturday if people stay over.
