Middlesbrough Supporters Forum - Monday

Boro's away shirts will be available to purchase in adult sizes from midday on Thursday.

The adult shirts with Unibet branding will be available online only at mfcofficialdirect.co.uk from 12 noon on Thursday 12 December, with no in-store sales.

Junior sizes also remain available following last month's delivery.

Supporters will be able to select Click & Collect, and are reminded to await their second confirmation email that their order is available to collect from the stadium store. Worldwide delivery is also available at the checkout.

The last day for guaranteed UK delivery before Christmas is Wednesday 18 December, while the last day for Click & Collect orders to be processed before Christmas is Friday 20 December.

Hurrah! Some stock! First time (I think) they've mentioned branding, so that suggests to me that people have been asking about the plain shirts.

Hopefully plenty of stock available and kids are smiling at Christmas.

Edit: It's still ridiculous that people can't buy at the club shop but can walk into the same shop to collect a purchase made on a phone literally outside the shop.

Fans have asked about shirts without branding and the club hasn’t listened.

Instead the F***ing idiotic practice of a knock on the table and a wink following the secret whisper to those ITK

It shouldn’t be this hard to just buy a F***ing shirt.

Do we know if the Unibet logo is definitely already on the shirt when they arrive at the club??

I'm usually a large adult? i didnt have the courage to try on any of those skin tight shirts..... 14 years old lad having to purchase a large.. I didnt think children should be wearing betting company logos????

MSF doesn’t want to offend the club representatives.. plus there’s the issue with printer ink and the foodbanks.

Personally i've been a long time lurker, non contributor, but lets be honest - MSF are not fit for purpose.. MSF are not a voice for the fans. I think there is a massive opportunity for someone to take the reigns... be the proper voice of the fans of Boro.....

Leeds are doing Buy One Get One Free on all shirts. Great offer for this time of year.

Sunderland are still 30% off all shirts (all sizes in stock as well).

I really hope this afternoon isn't a disaster any everyone who wants a shirt can get one. The cynic in me expects stock issues by 2pm. The club will of course say this is due to demand regardless of the numbers ordered.

(PS, hope it's ok to mention this yet again. I've made a donation to a local food bank this morning if that helps.)

This can't be true. We've been told by someone that read an article online that the margin on kits is surprisingly small so they must be selling them all at a loss...

Can we ask the club about moving to a kit lasting 2 seasons and alternate the home and away kits. So, they still have a new launch every year.

Fans will feel like they're getting a better deal, the club will be able to order in larger numbers without the risk of having stock left over (which in theory should allow them to negotiate a cheaper price).

The club would need to crunch the numbers to see if it would work.

Having more stock available and allowing everyone a chance to buy the kit might lead to more revenue than just having half the people being able to buy it each year.

It's just a thought and might be worth asking about

We can ask - but they have already placed the orders for next season (November) and the season after that will be the 150 years anniversary so many fans will want special celebratory kits.

Haha they might want a kit, but Uncle Steve knows what's best doesn't he Rob? More unprecedented demand that couldn't be predicted eh?

Final pre-Xmas stock update I'm going to do. Away shirts are already out of stock in several sizes. Reminder that you won't be able to buy in-store AT THE FINAL HOME GAME BEFORE CHRISTMAS. Mental.

Adult H - S, M, XL, 2XL in stock
Adult A - XL, 3XL, 5XL, 6XL in stock
Adult 3rd - 3XL, 5XL only

Child H - 2YXS only. Reminder that 11+ will need an adult shirt.
Child A - YXS, XXS in stock
Child 3rd - OOS

Good news with the away shirts yesterday, but many sizes out of stock in less than 24 hours suggests to me under ordering rather than huge demand.

Reminder that Sunderland are 30% off all shirts, with all sizes available as of last night. Leeds United doing 'BOGOF' on all shirts.
