Middlesbrough Supporters Forum - Monday

What questions are people wanting to be asked that haven't been?

Half the time it's people asking the same questions every time, getting an answer, not liking it and asking the question again for the next meeting.

The MSF can't overrule the club, if they won't budge or won't answer a question, there's not much else to be done.

The club shop and kit issues are ****, but it's been highlighted repeatedly, the club will know they've ****ed up and have a long history of deflecting responsibility.
I doubt there's a public apology for failing to order a reasonable number of kits in the works.

It's just basic stuff that isn't being done. Being honest about MSF has being going for over 7 years and nobody has really heard of it.. so that just goes to show how effective that is. There was a huge fuss before Rob was chair and none of those issues have been resolved.
I don't think things will ever change, that's the way committee's and these kind of things tend to work, especially when one side has the upper hand. Whoever attends has to play within the system whether we like it or not. I prefer to look at some of the achievements and acknowledge them, if questions (and not all can be) are not being put forward then that is right to question why, but as I understand it people are always asked if they have any questions and minutes are always shared at some point with the responses, unless people want the answers to be made up or expect the club to be aggressively challenged none stop over individuals gripes, what else are representatives supposed to do, as I said earlier it is not a negotiating body, but there is an opportunity to influence which has to be done in the right way otherwise the club will.listen even less.

I don’t think anyone is expecting miracles of MSF, but they do expect that they’re able and willing to represent the concerns of the fans. That’s what they’re not seeing.

The food bank is great, as is the open training session. But as far as we can see there has been no pressure put upon about the extortionate ticket prices, the **** poor club shop too. If the questions have been asked, we’re not told what the responses were, only that a discussion has took place.

I agree that Rob has been taking some flack for this, maybe unfairly in some instances, but the responses he’s given haven’t helped. Posters have asked questions time and time again he could easily answer and instead he has deflected and attacked.

Why?
I think this has been answered.

The minutes make it seem like the meeting was 30 mins.

2 hours and all we get is some generic statements released afterwards. What topics were debated at length?
Probably best just to lock this thread. We’re not going to get anywhere with it.

Questions can’t be asked.. questions can’t be answered.. everyone is bitter and has a grudge and hates peoples who relies on foodbanks.

Locking the thread is the best outcome for MFC and MSF. That's what we should definitely do. Then stand in a corner or something.

Son, I'm telling you. Its the exclusive 4th kit! Wear it Boxing Day, you'll fit in just fine!

I just had a quick look the Christmas shop bit on the website.

A couple of bits aren't too bad although very overpriced, but loads of stuff just has CADs rather than an actual images of the product! its December and they haven't even got pictures of the products to sell on the website madness
.

The question will be asked at the January meeting.
What's the deadline for having the question formally placed on the agenda?
Will the Agenda Sub-Committee have to verify its inclusion or subject it for amendment to the Agenda Amendment Section of the Amendments and Agendas Supervisory Department ?
