Northern echo reporting we after the Rotherham striker and hope to get Hoilett and Mendez Laing tied down soon. Not sure how I feel about any of them 3 signing. Suppose Smith might be a decent back up striker but would be disappointed if he comes in as the main man.

Hoilett I’m not fussed about and Mendez Laing needs to get match fit , hopefully he has a good pre season if he signs.

Add Mendes Laing to that list as well. He has done nothing to deserve a new contract. Never fit, didn't do much when he was. I think he set up one goal but wasn't it disallowed. Possibly Bola.

He scored a lovely finish to be fair aswell, i think he got an assist aswell, Think it was Bolasie who set up the disallowed Bola goal. But yeah, I’m not fussed, if he signs I guess it will be beneficial of him having a pre season and then seeing what he is about cos he did look off the pace at times last season but guess it was Understandable really. I won’t be fussed if we don’t bother signing him but also will give him a chance to prove himself if he does sign as he was a decent player before his off field mistake.

More than Spence managed in 38 appearances

If he can't get consistently fit, it's risky, but he's a decent Championship player when he is.

NML, I like how he isn't just head down and run down blind alleys, he's a much more intelligent and patient footballer than I expected. I'd be happy to have him next season, if fully fit and firing he can certainly still do a job and yes, infinitely better than Spence.
