MFC's SC's are very good value.

I haven't read your entire post indeedido. Please excuse me but right now i don't have the time. I'll revisit at a later date. The first point i'll make is that i'm a huge Gibson fan. I'm extremely grateful for everything he's done, is doing and continues to do for the club. I am able to separate the decisions from the man.
Secondly i'd note a significant issue in the way you're appraising the numbers. You're throwing football related costs in with operating costs. The revenues generated by the club go towards operating costs. Any net costs incurred by the club that relate to football ie wages, transfers etc. are covered by Gibson.

Extending this hugely subsidised scheme to incentivise filling empty seats is a very poor commercial decision.
If there are c5k seats to fill on average (falling by the week) then the club would generate less than £1m after VAT by extending the GRFZ or its pricing concept to fill them (whilst the 5k fans paying Walk up prices would continue to be ripped off)
I'd love to know the conversion rate: how many kinds who outgrow GRFZ go on to buy an adult season ticket? If that proportion is very high then there's an argument that the huge discounts are a worthwhile investment in the future. I suspect they probably aren't high enough though, and the current form of the team is the only factor that really matters.

Not sure it’s definitely just about them becoming adult season card holders. It’s mainly just about ensuring the club has a future, fans don’t all HAVE to be season ticket holders. Some of them will move to Melbourne and watch on iFollow etc.

No Humpty.
I simply compared the revenues generated by tickets to various types of costs and expenses the Club incurs.
Ticket revenues don’t cover much at all, whatever way you cut the cost base.

Their website says £15.
TC - £15 might be for advanced sales. Walk up to me is buying a ticket on the day.

Anyone - Interested to know if you think £30 for Boro game is better value than £20 for a Darlo game, say if you were a neutral fan.

I'm not excused? ;):ROFLMAO:

I've always maintained that our commercial revenues are poor in comparison to other similar sized clubs in the Championship. If we weren't soo poor at generating commercial revenue there wouldn't be a need for rising already astronomical ticket prices.

It's probably just £15.

They'd advertise if there was a difference in pricing to encourage take-up

For instance, Hartlepool is £20 in advance or £21 on the day, and it's well advertised as such on their website.

Not for me to excuse anyone:)

They're two different issues though.
I agree the Commercial revenues are poor and are an opportunity.
But the SC prices are not astronomical, the match day prices are and result in lots of empty seats even with champagne football in this league.

Personally as a neutral, if I was in Norfolk for a month I might pay £30 to go and watch Norwich, but would certainly not be interested in watching Kings Lynn the next week for £20.
Similar comparison to Boro Darlo.

Second highest prices in the league aren’t they in one of the most deprived areas in the country.

Agree with this. To put it simply, the only way to judge our ST prices is to compare them with the other 23 teams in the same league. Our ST prices are more expensive than 22 of those 23 teams so that for me says they're not great value for money.

The commercial revenues have increased dramatically..We don't see all the conferences that use the Riverside. But we know about the Killers and Arctic Monkeys etc. Sponsorship has also greatly increased.

Good, there was certainly lots of scope for a step change.
It doesn't stop the scope for much better revenue from Merchandise and from Concourse operations.
An increase in a revenue stream is welcome, but not the same as optimising it.
