MFC: James Arthur playing at Riverside on June 8th!

Think the bloke is a brilliant song writer, especially about tough subjects like suicide and mental health, and has an incredible voice. Also seems really down to earth, has made mistakes like all of us and learnt from them.

Meanwhile, the wife is more excited about Mcfly.

Good to see him doing well, hope he gets a good turnout.

Each to their own, the lad is a fantastic singer.
I'm so chuffed he's playing the stadium. Top lad.

Plenty will knock him on the basis of him being a talent show winner and not deemed 'cool enough', but I think he's a great singer too and he also has some fantastic songs. He's 71st in the world on Spotify streams (37.6m streams per month) and he seems to have been a permanent fixture in their top 100 artists for years. Should be a good night, although the cost of (mainstream) live music these days is steep (probably due to the aforementioned streams paying the artists pennies).

I seen his tweet about it and was inspired to tweet back…

Words can’t describe… James Arthur playing at the riverside… his hair his fine, sings belters all the time… that’s why he sings his songs… for the boro all night long…

It sounded better in my head then I tried to sing it…

I think I will suppress my inspiration in the future lol

Yeah, as someone said, now the AO arena? I'm stuck in an age where it was always know as the Manchester Evening News arena. I was told that upper tier seating was unavailable, so yes, he has sold out, but only the half that is open!
You can only play (to) what's in front of you
