I'm torn here. I love Lewis but, I really really want Sergio to do well in his home GP. This place is kicking off. This is what it's all about
 
I've just finished a long journey and been listening on 5live.

Can someone explain what it means when someone has DRS on and another doesn't? I mean they kept mentioning that Perez had his DRS on but Hamilton didn't on a particular straight.

Hope that makes sense, I've not watched F1 for many many years.

At key overtaking points they have Dr's which effectively "switches off" the rear wing to reduce drag and make the car faster. You can only get it if you are within a second of the car in front. It was built to try and improve chances of overtakes. Which is why the car behind gets it and the car I front doesn't

It didn't sound like it from the radio but I'd like to think Max let Bottas past there so he could then catch up and blu flag to stop his fastest lap charge. Would show great strategic thinking
 
Before the weekend: Lewis would have snapped your hands off for second but after qualy he'll be disappointed.

Great drive by Checo too.
 
Yes a good performance from Max. That run down to turn one made the race. What was noticeable was how early Bottas breaked in comparison to Max and Lewis.

That's why Bottas will never be a contender.

Yeah, bottled it and got a McLaren in the boot as punishment. I genuinely like Bottas but he just hasn't made the most of his tools at Mercedes

Probably wouldn’t make a difference anyway, with the RB 20 seconds quicker it’s impossible to defend that
 
Great defensive drive by Lewis. Looked very downtrodden there at the end. Which is understandable. Another mature drive by Max and Red Bull as a whole.

Brazil can throw up all sorts of surprises, especially if the weather turns which it has a habit of doing.

I don't know about that JM. At a track like that you get in front after turn one, no DRS for 2 laps and in 2nd place you're running in dirty air. It makes it a completely different race.

It’s another track at altitude though which massively helps the Hondas, think Hamilton will likely take a grid drop for a new engine too
