Mogga is a tough act to follow. He is so obviously a decent bloke that unless his successor is equally as decent or gets the football spot on, fans will always long for the goodness of TM.

The few times l’ve seen Beale suggest to me he will need to get the football right.
 
I'm not sure where they expect to be. They sacked Mowbray and he had them a couple of points off the play offs.

They think they have some world beating squad. They really really don't. Mogga got a tune out of them, they will now realise they are miles off.
 
They're a pointless club. Many of them were saying they'd have preferred to have beaten Newcastle the other week, rather than get promoted this season. How pathetic.

They're in with a decent chance of making the play-offs this season but many of them will now hold a grudge against Beale because they got battered in their precious derby.
 
If Gibson had sacked Carrick and replaced him with Beale, we would be melting down just as badly. Mowbray joined Sunderland at almost the same time as Carrick joined us and, arguably did a better job under harder circumstances.

This, if you look at our squads if everyone was fully fit there’s only Clarke that would 100% make our starting 11.

Ballard would be in with a chance at the back but the rest I wouldn’t take any of them.
 
I don’t think Mowbray was sacked over results, he’d clearly become misaligned with their idea for the club. Much like Wilder did with us. Once a manager starts criticising the club publicly they don’t have too long left these days.

Exactly this. The next 6 games will determine Beale and his future at blunderland. Crucial period coming up for him.

Given their position in the league when he took over the only option he has really is making the playoffs otherwise he would be seen as no better than Mogga and the truth is they ain’t good enough for the playoffs

I'd prefer Mcgree to Clarke to be honest and I think Ballard is woeful, so clumsy and rash.

I don't think any Sunderland player gets in our strongest 11. Sounds daft as they are above us but shows how well Mowbray did and how bad our injury crisis has been I think.
 
Imagine if Clarke is sold late in the transfer window, last day late on no chance to get a replacement in........

The meltdown will be off the scale 🍿🍿🍿
