Matthew Hoppe loaned out to San Jose

Am I missing something here?? Why the uproar on a development player being loaned out again??

Surely the whole idea is that he is being developed by the club? See your Eddie Nketiah etc. Why couldn't he go out on loan for the next 12 months and have an impact for us 2024/25?

We aren't developing him, we are trying to get rid of him. There's an agreed fee.
