Matt Clarke back in training

he has been out a long time so I wouldnt have thought he will be troubling the first team for a good while yet. i wonder if he could play at full back?

We have just signed 2 left backs?

Hopefully he can some behind closed doors games in to catch up, maybe the Bradford game could be a good comeback game for him

Funny things happen in football, he might just be a real positive. He certainly had a good reputtation prior to arriving. He didn't look the type of player to be playing it out from the back, but we'll see. I ssuspect he's a while away yet though.

His track record before us suggests he'll be a very good option if he can get himself fully fit.

I thought he looked pretty decent on the ball on his debut then went downhill rapidly, but he was probably playing through injury for most of that.

Another option at CB, although we do seem particularly stacked there, more so when we have two fit RBs as well.

Well he's not going to be asked to bomb up the left wing (you'd hope) when playing at the moment. Perhaps he's a good option when asked to just defend?

Great news and let's hope he gets back playing ASAP.

However, have I not read on here a few times that he has been back 'training' for months but as soon as he does anything resembling football, his back can't cope?

He won't be troubling the first team for a good while yet, .....why not?

Is it because of all the clean sheets the team have been having? the solid understanding the back 4 have?
Ohhh hang on, we haven't had any clean sheets yet.... 11 goals in 5 games, we are coceding over 2 goals per game in the league, that needs to change ASAP.
