Its been an issue for far too long.
We`ve paid too much for average "forwards" and suffered as a consequence.
Not a good start - but when you hit bottom - the only way is up(y)
 
They said it on Sky. The lowest scorers in the league and we haven't brought in any strikers or attacking players! Warnock is not a magician. That team, that squad is so unbalanced, it's painful.

I thought Johnson provided the only threat. Saville; just nothing again and Tavernier, number 10? Never in a million years.

Desperately need half a dozen new players.

Are there not a couple of "useful" forwards at Guisbro Town or up at Ferryhill whom we can offer a match-by-match contract?
We desperately need a creative central midfielder and someone with balls [and knows how to use them] up front.

Frustrating game. Thought we played okay 1st half but felt we were trying too hard to force things in the 2nd. A bit disappointed that the only change Warnock made was Wing for Saville. Think it could have been worth bringing on Browne and Coulson, to at least give us fresh legs.

Scrappy second half.
We could have capitalised better on their defensive weakness.
 
We didn’t play bad. Take out that schoolboy defending for the corner and we would have a point as our keeper didn’t have a save to make.

We badly need a creative mid. Bitterly disappointed by Tav, completely anonymous in a position he had license to roam and create.

Thought Dijksteel looked good. We looked a lot more organised than at any time last season. Badly need that midfielder who offers a spark as we are too laboured and slow and too wasteful with the final ball.

Roberts and Murphy on loan would be a massive upgrade plus a big bruising center back that will stick their head and body on/in front of everything please.

Not worried about going down on that performance. We looked solid apart from the 2 set pieces.

Surely we have to be looking to move one of McNair or Saville on now Morsy is in.

Did we really pay 7 million for Saville?!!!
The lad has no consistency.
