Who's your picks for the masters?
Hard to look past scheffler but my picks are;
Koepka
Cam smith.
Theegala.
Henley. Ew.
And big price adam hadwin. Ew.
 
I like Niemann too. Will go all ew this year:
Niemann
Cam Young
Lowry
Matsuyama
Koepka
Zalatoris
All £5 ew
 
Fleetwood
Niemann

McIlroy to win it!

Hope the predicted downpour on Thursday doesn't kill the greens. The sub-air system can only do so much.
 
Scotty rightfully strong favourite but unbackable at the couple of quid stakes I limit myself to these days. Clark and Fitzpatrick EW for an interest but would really love McIlroy to start getting the silverware his passion and effort for golf deserves
 
I've gone for Rory but I don't actually think he'll win but I do want him to. It's 10 years since he last won a major and he's too good to have that record.

I'm also going for Bryson, Cam Smith and Min Woo Lee.

Bryson has been playing some really good golf. I've been watching his YouTube content and he actually seems like a decent bloke where he's always come across as a bit of a d*ck in the past.
 
Hovland is worth an each way bet surely?

Jason Day always seems to hang around.

As the OP said, Theegala isn't a bad shout.

Would like to see Hovland win if not Rory.

Was watching the preview on Sky last night and some concerns around Hovland being too obsessed with playing the perfect game, perfect shots rather than doing what is needed. We shall see
 
"Bhatia wins Masters, as shock outsider..."

(Been watching him the last few weeks on the PGA Tour, and he's in good form).

I saw that, his odds seem to be going up this morning too.

Shot up from 14/1 to 30/1 on william hill at one point earlier.

Concerns over his new coach/swing etc maybe?
 
Reed/Fleetwood/Rose. All £5 E/W and one or two of these three are usually in the top 10 or so, so gives a bit of interest to the weekend. Don't back Rory anymore but if he won it, I wouldn't mind losing my bets.
 
Blimey. How many excuses are these commentators going to make for the bad shots? OK, it’s a hard course, it’s windy, players are not getting birdies and eagles every hole but they are playing 18 holes, in short sleeve shirts with white trousers and having a caddy to carry the clubs etc. Meanwhile in the British Isles we might get a game tomorrow if no more rain. Probably 10 holes, on mats, body warmer, cleaning the ball every shot to get the mud off because it doesn’t bounce. Oh, and no physio, coach, accountant or T Bone steak and wine to sort me out afterwards! :eek:
