Massive week ahead

This week is huge for us.

We need to strengthen in each department exc Gk IMO to have a chance in making the playoffs.

Will Gibson splash the cash and buy or go down the loan route?

Who will be sold?

Saturdays game is a must win also we don't want Carrick been under pressure from the plastic fans if the game doesn't go well and turn on him.

I can see McNair and Payero leaving, the former to generate some money and the latter to get him off the wage bill.

Who comes in is a mystery. We definitely need help in midfield and if McNair goes we will need at least another defender.

Recruitment and scouting teams are gonna have to pull something out the bag, this is where they're gonna earn their money, fans expect improvement.

Anyhow......looking forward to the unattached/ free agent/ bargain bin window opening.

Might be really lucky and get the new Massimo Luongo......😳😳

Transfer market always speeds up during the final week, it all depends how far down the line negotiations have developed.
Players and agents will be looking at all options, it won't be easy, its obvious we don't have a large pot of money to spend.
We need several positions strengthening, but some areas more than others.
a No 10, a striker, a ball winning DM would be my first 3 choices, but those type of players will not come cheaply.

Who will be sold?
Payero, crooks and McNair must all be at risk first two for contract situation and the last for not fitting the system.

You can still carry one player and make the play offs, so out of these 4 positions: RB, CDM, 10, CF

I think our poor start will have put some players off joining. Some Championship teams look a much attractive option that us at the moment
At the moment only Sheff Wed and Huddersfield are beneath us and the league table doesn’t lie.
A season we looked forward to has turned into a nightmare in which we have lost our scorers and defensively we are weak.

It’s 4 games I honestly can’t see that having any impact on new signings at all, as above the pull is carrick and being part of his side.

More than Ipswich? Norwich?
Not sure your point. Are you talking about the teams play better football than us and have better prospects or are you saying they would rather live in carrots and tractor land and enjoy a rural lifestyle that Teesside can't offer them? Which players are you talking about by the way?
