Will he get caught in the conversation regarding Luis Rubiales? Will he be used to take the heat off him? Very strange..can’t see Getafe coming out of this very well?
 
Ipswich got the guy who is probably going to light up the league in Dane Scarlett. Ok he’s only 19 but he’s definitely a big force in the box and can really play. Too bad we missed out.

Not sure that's necessarily true.

Not making any value judgment about the morality or ethics of it but according to published reports, the players and their families in Saudi Arabia have a pretty luxurious lifestyle.

Ronaldo and his family for instance, seem to be having a pretty good time of it.

She’s a victim who’s apparently been in a coercive relationship. If she’s still being coerced that’s the bit I feel sad about. I’m not sure its because she ain’t that arsed

The thing that really shocked me (and this was mentioned earlier) was that her father was apparently instrumental in getting her to stay with her (evidently) abusive partner.

Also, when the photos and audio clip came out, he seemed more concerned with the fact that the information had come out, and his relationship with Greenwood, than with the abuse his daughter had suffered.

Here's an excerpt of the somewhat perplexing statement he made at the time.

"She has told us her phone has been hacked. We told her to take it down, which she has done but it’s out there now so it is too late.

“She is devastated because she didn’t want it released. We have known him since the under 21s. He has been part of our family for two or three years.

Their relationship has not been good for the last few months. She is completely devastated by it all.”

Ye it was a weird one, feels like mason coercion at play there too.

Dad comes across as not wanting to lose benefits of his daughter dating a footballer
 
The timing of the announcement also stinks it was announced pretty much bang on 11 as they knew it would be the time that it would get the least media flak as all the other deals would take the headlines.

You have got to feel for the father though. It must be horrible for him listening to the audio of someone trying to rape his daughter, and yet knowing he can’t do anything about it because he wants a footballer in the family more than protecting her.

tbh Father sounds like a bit of a **** but I have no idea what's going on in there world so maybe should not be judging
