its in man utd interests to throw him under the bus now, it doesnt do them any favours to be seen to supprting him or condoning his behaviour in anyway regardless of his value as a playing asset.

Apparently various UTD players have stopped following him on twitter. So team mates quickly distancing themselves.

Think the guilt is pretty much nailed on. If he's done it then hopefully just pleads guilty and saves the trial. No doubt some celebrity scumbag lawyer is trying to do the best he can for him.

I do understand👍

I mean if someone can 'defend' Fred West then everyone is entitled.

It still doesn't make it more palatable if his client is guilty. That includes scumbags in the gazette selling drugs to 'allegedly' Greenwood beating up his missues.

My point is, regardless of innocence or guilt, in a courtroom, the lawyers present each side of the case, and the truth will out. Without that adversarial process the system doesn't work. Both defence and prosecution play their part in that process, presumably because they believe in that process.

You don't necessarily defend someone because you want them to walk away, but because, without both sides playing their part, you don't have justice. You have Judge Judy and executioner. None of us want that.

I've not looked and glad I haven't - there is NO defence AT ALL based on the photo's and the recording. Pure, vile scum and anyone trying to defend him is speaking volumes of their own morals.

I'm not sure what point you're trying to make, but either way, they've broken up now. Been broken up a while by the sounds of things.
