Martin Payero

Looks to be strong, direct, go can past players and decent delivery on set pieces too.

But the infamous YouTube video isn't always representative of what you actually get game in game out.

He reminds me a bit of Bruno Fernandes in the way he plays

I’m actually excited by this (I know it’s foolish getting excited over YouTube clips but I am anyway!)

So much for folks saying there is no plan, no ambition etc etc.. THIS LAD IS IMMENSE!
There are young kids today dreaming, hoping, dribbling from their mouths, desperate to become the new Martin Payero. He is hotter than the sun, faster than a speeding bullet and the club have approached their goal manufacturer to have the nets strengthened to cope with the speed at which his shots travel.

south american sources on twitter are saying 5.6mill. I guess spread over 4 years that's about 1.4mill up front?

The fees seems likely around 500/600k not 8m. Also don’t forget that South American players can get work permits easily. Good luck. Never heard of him.

I think we have to wait for him to play at Tokyo Olympics before he can be signed for the points system . Atleast we agreed a deal before he lights up the Olympics and is man of the match in the gold medal match 😂

Hopefully he's as good as Ledesma. I doubt know why but always thought he was under used and maybe under valued (although cost buttons).

Going off topic a bit but I loved Ledesma me. He had a touch of class about him, some of his passing and play was top tier stuff.

I think I read a while back that he struggled with fitness, i.e. struggled to last 90 mins and not through lack of training so some physiological problem? Which might be why he never really kicked on despite the talent.

Perfect for what we needed at the time though.

Replace McNair with Tav and bring Watmore in, we might start getting near to a balanced side.

One of 4 Argentinians to have played a first team game for us. Name the other 3
