To get back to the subject looking at the sentencing guidelines Page may well be looking at 3 years but with a range from 2-6.

If you think back to the vote for/against goal music it showed that there is a massive split in how people want their Riverside PA experience.

Agreed Rob (but I did like Mike McG when he had his stint).
The verdict on Mark Page is pretty stunning, he was the voice of the Riverside, a familiar fellow fan with a big profile. His crimes are heinous and I trust that the sentence given to him tomorrow morning will reflect that.

Usually when custody can be avoided the Court request a pre sentence report from the Probation Service which would recommend options beyond the obvious custodial sentence. The lack of a guilty pleas means no discount on the sentence length so he will be looking at a double figures jail term with possibly an extended licence term and lifetime sexual offences registration.

The starting point looking at the sentencing guidelines for the most serious offending is 5 years for this type of offence, with a range from 4-10 years.

I don’t know the case in detail. He will be subject to notification on the sex offenders register and made subject to a sexual harm prevention order regulating how he behaves when he is released.
