The way he described the 3rd Boro goal was so annoying

Something like: ‘akpom hits it and oooohhhh......(after 2-3 seconds) he hits the back of the net’.

I’m sat thinking he has missed when he says oooohhhhh....
When his constant chatter about nothing
Boring
Big ego
Only interested in coming across as intelligent (instead of just doing his job)

Matty Jones is a million times better!!!
Just commentates and says what he sees but with boro passion.

Drury is a ego maniac, boring and full of himself. Not full of boro.

So did I. But when you have been waiting months to have a go you are going to quickly jump on any old “oooooooh”
 
Make me chuckle when he said we've scored according to the goals website .. then a minute later they commentated on said goal due to the delay on the stream

I use him as a role model
 
Im pleased I only listened to the Three Counties Radio commentary.
I can only get Tees online.
Drury is a plank in Radio presenter terms for me.
Like Ive said before: Ali set the bar so high and Drury in professional presentation and style is a long way away.
Local Community Radio and Hospital Radio have presenters with skill and not so much ego.
 
Yes, terrible as always. And add in Craig "chip on my shoulder" Hignett and it was a truly awful commentary.
 
Thought the Wycombe commentary was better. Thought their big centre forward was a handful. Worth a cheeky bid? (y)

Higgy has a great sense of humour - only just heard him after the match finished. Lets have him an Maddo on together.
