Marijuana - legalise it?

My worry about legalization is what would happen with the dealers that currently make a lot of money out of it. Having an income stream removed like that would obviously lead them to seek an alternative income and I'm not sure what that would do in terms of increasing crime.
Apart from the moral dilemma of providing crimes for crooks to monetize, and having those crooks attempting to entice the young and vulnerable, I think you'll find they're already active in other types of criminality.

Should it be legal? I don't smoke it myself , but personally feel it should.

Seems the President of the United States thinks so as well

Hes a great advert for it, so is the orange man too.

Speed caused his incontinence :poop:

A large part of that is because people buy illegally from a drug dealer who does a bit of upselling. Like when you go to McDonald's for a Big Mac and you end up with a large meal and 20 nuggets.
People will still buy from dealers if it’s legal

I’m on the fence with whether to legalize it or not.
But I don’t quite get how we could soften up on smoking weed while at the same time effectively banning smoking tabs.

*I’m aware there’s more than one way to consume weed

No no no no. This was my drug of choice in my late teens and early 20s. I am fked up and my memory is so screwed because of this drug. I used to "need" 2 or 3 joints to leave the house or wake up.

No chance it’s a gateway drug for harder drugs further down the line.

Won’t happen for some but most people with drug issue started on weed.
bull****. The pros far outweigh the cons. The idea of gateway drugs is ridiculous. Since smoking weed, I've cut down massively on booze.
