Mad Nad’s seat up for grabs

If some of us can allow ourselves to dream a little bit the Mid Bedfordshire By-Election swing was repeated across the country, giving
LAB: 480 (+284)
LDM: 104 (+96)
CON: 20 (-356)
SNP: 23 (-25)
PLC: 3 (+1)
GRN: 1 (=)

which is this map

Based on that map, by my reckoning, Braverman and Badenoch will go.

In fact the 20 left will be

John Lamont in Scotland

Just three paid up ERG loons John Whittingdale, Bernard Jenkin and Mark Francois

The only current Cabinet Minister or MP who attends Cabinet that would be left is Steve Barclay

Also left

Gavin Williamson (FFS! :ROFLMAO: )
Louie French
Chris Philp
Andrew Rosindell
Victoria Atkins
Giles Watling
John Hayes
Matt Warman
Rebecca Harris
Alex Burghart
Julia Lopez
Gareth Bacon
Stephen Metcalfe
David Evennett

and either Damian Green, Helen Whately or Helen Grant. There are boundary changes, all were in safe seats in that area but I don't know who will be selected.

Wouldn't that be something?

If you think of some of the people the Conservatives have foisted on us these lat 7/8 Brexit years, who without doubt must comprise about 50% of the worst people ever to be elected to Parliament, through a combination of losing seats/standing down we would be rid of

Boris Johnson
Lizz Truss
Suella Braverman
Priti Patel
Michael Gove
Grant Schapps
Dominic Raaaab
Jacob Rees-Mogg
Nadine Dorries
Rishi Sunak
Oliver Dowden
Jeremy Hunt
James Cleverly
Penny Mordaunt
Andrew Bridgen
Kemi Badenoch
Therese Coffey
Greg Hands
Michael Fabricant
Owen Paterson
Robert Jenrick
Kwasi Kwarteng

It's an exhausting rather than exhaustive list. I've probably missed some additional scumbags. I actually left a few off the list because they did show some decency here and there along with some gobshitiness.

In years gone by Theresa May would be on that list for her enthusiastic creation of the hostile environment and her premature triggering of A50 and her stupid red lines. She'd have fit in to the Thatcher cabinets quite well. I'd have had Ken Clarke in there in previous lists of MP's I'd like to have seen the back of when they were in government and inflicting misery on the miners and the poor. However, compared to the 50+ above, she was actually competent, decent and moderate. Comparatively.

Sadly though that will never happen as you have loons in Rishi’s constituency who would vote for a pig if it has a clue rosette on. He’ll keep his seat but my bets is on him resigning as an MP when the Tories lose the election.

Even the unhinged bile vomiting Telegraph headbanger Allison Pearson is “Washing her hands of this lot”

“ As things could not look worse for the Conservatives, time to let the women come in to clear up.
Rishi Sunak and Jeremy Hunt to go immediately. @KemiBadenoch @SuellaBraverman to assemble a small top team to focus exclusively on the priorities of the Tory base and convince them it’s worth voting.
Thus minimise election defeat in October 2024.
It’s the only strategy”

Tories on Twitter in total meltdown. Wonderful sight.
It's mad that she can see that the Tories are screwed, yet does not realise they're screwed because they've been trying to appease people like her. It's like a catch-22/ chicken and the egg

Hilarious innit? It almost falls in line with a Bertolt Brecht quote from a poem of his.

“ Some party hack decreed that the people
had lost the government's confidence
and could only regain it with redoubled effort.
If that is the case, would it not be be simpler,
If the government simply dissolved the people
And elected another?”

There's a war about to erupt in Toryville.

There are MPs that know they are facing the boot, in provincial red-wall towns and they will want to double down on hate, division, racism, boatpeople talk and culture war. Some will want Johnson back, some will want to get behind Bravermans hate.

Then you have the Tufton St maniacs who are happy to hang their hat on Bravermans rhetoric, but maybe have a misalignment with Braverman economically and would rather have Truss back.

Then you get the one nationers, that want Penny Mordaunt or someone similar in power.

The right have been emboldened so much in that party, that the gap between tehm and the relatively sane tories is so large, that it's impossible to get them all to work together. The true one nationers that have held their tongue must be getting awfully tired of the rhetoric, the odd one puts their head above the parapet then usually leaves.

They were largely united behind Cameron, they started to fall apart with brexit, they snapped when the last intake of MPs, the ex-KIPpers got in, then 30p Lee got his senior Tory role, and it's now an embarrassment, a circus of a party. I've always disliked their politics, but the rhetoric, abuse of power and lies are a whole other level now, it's gonna collapse.
Absolutely nailed it.

It's mad now, that any time I hear Theresa May or John Major speak, or someone like that, they sound like they're from a completely different party, I bet they're just as ***ed off as us Labour voters/ Tory opposition voters, but in a different way. Tories have completely ****ed it for themselves, they're like that old children's story/song about the guy who builds his house on sand, but they've built their party on lies and hate, it's gonna fall down.

The current Tories are basically UKIP, it's obvious now, and any time I speak to someone who is going to vote tory in the next election, I'll bring that up.

KS's done a good job not to **** off too many people, especially in the centre and he's not become a target himself, so he can just sit there and hoover votes, and even if he doesn't hoover them all, it won't matter as they will vote Lib Dem anyway. Perfect tactics, which I've been saying for years.

The Tories have absolutely zero chance of winning the centre votes without some actual sense. Some of their policies before this lot of clowns made some sense, especially to the upper classes and maybe some of the upper middle class areas down south, but now they only make sense to people who have a net worth over 1 million, or those who like racism/ xenophobia, and lies.

I saw Dorries posted this yesterday:

She needs to seriously look in the mirror. These far right clowns need to realise they're their own worst enemy. Although, saying that, I'm not fussed about it now, as if they keep doing it, they're guaranteed to lose the election, massively.
