Mad Nad’s seat up for grabs

I have a friend who lives in Mid Beds who is a volunteer for the Greens.

He said to me back in August that whilst almost everyone in the area hated Nadine Dorries the Conservatives would hold on to the seat.

I guess the problem is the opposition vote will be split.
 
I think the Tories will hold on here albeit with a slim and massively reduced majority.

I think (hope) they will get smashed in Tamworth though.
 
I am loving watching Tory MP after Tory MP pop up on the various live news programs trying to downplay the significance of the huge double loss it’s looking ever increasingly like is about to be inflicted on them. Some lovely mental gymnastics going on, pretending that it means nothing, or isn’t a shock, isn’t a big deal, low turn out of Tories only, was to be expected historically, etc. 😂 🍿
 
Labour were 6/4 yesterday and are now 1/5 on. Seems likely a Labour win now.

Tamworth was always going to be a Labour win.

This may well trigger a vote of no confidence and at that point sunak may call a snap ge.
 
If Labour want to have a chance of holding the seat they’ll need a pack with Lib Dem’s

We know the tories are shy at bi elections, plus the people who voted Lib Dem could be protest votes
