Lumley is still a liability

We have a lot of sh1t fans who like to jump on players backs for literally anything, it’s really depressing.
 
To me it looked like that 2nd definitely swerved, if lumley had played for the swerve and the ball stayed straight meaning that lumley palmed the ball into his own net would you experts be happy?

It seems to me that whilst perhaps some fans are jumping on Lumley's mistakes a bit too quickly, some fans are a bit keen to defend that bloke, and claim he's blameless.

He played 77 games for QPR in 8 years there. I think that probably tells us something.
 
I don’t think lumley was to blame for the second goal, it was extremely well struck, I haven’t seen a replay of the first goal, we were done twice on our week side though, that I do know.

It does tell us he wasn't their no 1 and they're may be now more too come Cuthbert. He had improved this season and they're may still be improvement to come

You could argue his positioning could have been better for the first but very few keepers would have been anywhere near it.
But for the second he just didn't move. Because he's just not a good keeper.
Thought his distribution was excellent tonight though.
 
he could have done better ,but i wouldnt class it as a bad mistake,hes been ok last few games tbh,but it doesnt alter the fact that hes not a very good keeper who should and probs will be replaced for the start of next season
 
If we had Mendy in our goal we woulda took the game to penalties and won. Lumley is the reason we are out the cup for me

Sorry that's not fair.
We were ouclassed right across the park man for man apart from Jones.
But we were playing the World and European Champions FFS who had to change their normal game to play us.
We have nothing to be ashamed of any loads to look forward to.
