For me, Daniels has to start against Bournemouth at the very least. Too many errors for Lumley to be going into some huge games for the club. Brynn may be talented but throwing him in the deep end could be costly. Daniels must have confidence after the penalty shootout against arsenal u23’s, so I would start him tomorrow. Would Lumley be able to hold his own against one of the best attacks in the league? Not in my opinion. Hull, Barnsley, QPR are all games where he has cost us, hopefully Daniels gets the nod, experienced in the league, wants to play👍

Lumley is not a bad keeper. He’s on par with Darren Randolph

Can’t really remember a time over the seasons he was here that Randolph let us down, maybe the odd game. Lumley is 10 points at least in a season where we could be promoted. Lumley is one of the most clueless goalkeepers I have seen in some time. Randolph is up there with the best we have had imo regarding consistency. Rarely put a foot wrong, whereas Lumley has rushed out of goal multiple times that has nearly cost us…

Behave yourself Newy, really,if we had Randolph this season we would be challenging Bournemouth for 2nd place .
There is no comparison between the two, Randolph is in a different stratosphere compared to Lumley.

Daniels was awful when he was playing, he may not make the errors Lumley does but he didn’t save anything that wasn’t pretty much straight at him. He also wasn’t playing sweeper keeper and stood on his line the whole time. Just compared their save percentages only 53% for Daniels which is appalling and among the worst in the division. Lumleys is 66 and around the middle.

I think Wilder will stick with Lumley because Daniels isn’t really any better. He’s definitely on his final warning though.

I think Brynn would get a chance if there wasn’t so much at stake. We didn’t let put back out on loan in January for a reason but the fact he’s not even been on the bench suggests he won’t be thrown in.

No, no, no! Of all the reasons why we we are not top two Joe Lumley is not one of them.

Not having Dijksteel, Fry & Bola cost us massively. That’s the be all and end all for me.

Next on the list would be our strike force, Ikpeazu started off well. Matt Crooks too! I expected a bit more from Sporar.. maybe covid or an injury has hampered him? He’s still a supporting striker.

Connolly and Balogun only arriving in January.. Connolly’s confidence seems absolutely shot.. I really hope we can get behind him until the end of the season. Balogun making the step up from the U23s.. the pair of them gradually improving.

Hopefully it all just clicks at the right time. I can see Connolly just saying to himself fook this and just smashing in a couple of worldies! I’ve seen a few glimpses of magic from him.. he just needs to throw off The heebie jeebies or what ever is holding him back. Having an instagram model rock up to your house pishing in the kitchen at 3am is always gonna effect your chi and chakras.

Balogun has the ability to blow up on the Championship.. like a ticking time bomb he is! Reminds me a little bit of Nmecha.. very technical.

We’ve got a squad capable of automatic promotion.. we just need to play that way till the end of the season.

I dare say our strikers/attackers were doing the business at the other end..

Traore, Downing, Bamford, Braithwaite, Assombalonga, Fletcher
vs
Jones, Bola, Balogun, Sporar,
Connolly, Coburn

It'll be Lumley today and probably Monday to see if being named and shamed gets a reaction out of him. And if we end up with 0/1/2 points we'll probably look like we can't make the playoffs afterall and may as well give Brynn a chance to show what he can do.
