Luke Ayling Medical this morning

I agree - we do seem a little "soft" this season and a player like Ayling is the type of player we don't currently have - although I noticed RVDB was doing a bit of this last night.
I know it’s be said elsewhere and isn’t really the point of this thread, but I fcuking love van den Berg. An absolute Rolls Royce player in the championship who I thought looked right at home against Sterling and Mudryk.

I don’t see why Ayling couldn’t play for another 2-3 years if he wanted too. There’s plenty of good players who have carried on playing at a high level well into their mid thirties.

Nothing that I didn’t expect but he’s getting a fantastic send off from Leeds fans on social media. They absolutely love the bloke.

They are hoping he attends Leeds's match on Sunday to get a proper send off

Subject to Luke’s availability, we hope he will be able to attend our next home match against Preston North End, on Sunday 21st January, in order for supporters to be able to give him a true Leeds United send off.

Thanks for everything, Bill.

Great signing and just what we need with the older heads at the back out injured for the season.

He has the feel of a proper footballer if that makes sense and I think we will be a stronger team for having him in and around it.

Great athlete and technically gifted too. Fab signing. Interested to see him linking up with Jones.

Happy with that. Good player in a position where we desperately needed to bring someone in, and also brings experience and leadership. Hard to see a downside with it.
