On last episode now…

Its one of the best crime shows I’ve seen.. and funny too..

David Mitchell is fantastic in it, as is Anna Maxwell Martin…

The murder stories are a bit formulaic but I think it’s intentional and part of the story arc… if you do watch it, overlook that and stick with it…

Thought I was going to be disappointed with the end there…
Obv left it open for a second series but not obviously…
And didn’t rush to wrap up loose ends…
Very well done all round..

Seen them all, really enjoyed them. As previously mentioned it reminds me of Death in Paradise, Jonathan Creek and Monk.

Agree it's similar to Death in Paradise too.
A couple more detective/murder mystery shows I've come across this year that are really good are:-
Mcdonald and Dodds
and
The Chelsea Detective

Anyone else old enough to think this thread would be about this:

the Sian Gibson Johnny Vegas Drapers Tours series is quite good. Similar comedy detective series. more bias on comedy, as some of it is a bit daft, but very entertaining. it doesnt seem to come up as a series on Iplayer
you have to search the individual episodes
