Well it’s scuppered our game plan our main supply route and derailed our attaching threat but yes apart from that… he’s done nothing.has changed nothing.

To achieve quality in all those positions we arguably need new investment into the club or selling Hackney and Mcgree who would then need replacingIn the summer we need:
CB
RB
Two MF
Two CF
That’s a minimum
I'm always right, its a curse.A stopped clock is right twice a day. If you are unceasingly negative, when the teams going through a bad patch you can feel all smug. Well done. "But as usual I'm proven right." Nauseating.
On a more general point, i think people underestimate how important Rogers was for us. Before the Sunderland match they brought up a stat on sky that showed in our previous 10 or something games Rogers had 8 goal contributions, the next nearest was Jones with 2.
It's definitely made a difference to our recent results but it won't affect the outcome of the season.Well it’s scuppered our game plan our main supply route and derailed our attaching threat but yes apart from that… he’s done nothing.
What fall out?Selling Rogers AND Crooks in January and replacing neither was the end of the season. Short sighted in my view.
The seeming fall out with Dieng hasn’t helped either mind!
A couple of the lads said yesterday: the sale of Rogers was financially sensible, but it sets a precedent.Selling Rogers killed the season, just like some of us said it would.
It wasn't just we lost him on the pitch, but it sent a message loud and clear that the club has no ambition this season. None whatsoever.
The fans have given up and it looks like the team have too.
AgreedWhat fall out?
What fall out?
It certainly is, he’s like another outfield player…..and we could do with a few more of them.Rumour doing the rounds now is that he took unauthorised days off after leaving AFCON with injury, and Carrick has refused to play him since.
I'm hoping that's not actually true as it's cutting of your nose to spite your face with how bad Glover has been recently.
You do have to wonderThere has to be a reason Glover is being picked ahead of him. It's definitely not because he's better so either Dieng isn't fully fit or he's taken out of favour for another reason.
Plenty of talk about selling Rogers. Yet we got a decent price.
Surprised not more annoyed about losing Crooks. A terrific goals per game recored for Boro. He had an amazing knack of being in the right place.
Sold for 1mil. You simply can't replace his goals or ability for that. I understand he wanted to move etc.
I'd say another massive miss for Boro.
Hackney has been a massive loss this season. The best we have by far at playing that way.Probably,
we also lack ballers in midfield, you can press barlaser and win the ball high, teams know this
Yes he finds the pockets, takes it on the half turn and travels, no one else in the squad can consistently do thatHackney has been a massive loss this season. The best we have by far at playing that way.
100% accurate. Went to Qatar with gf instead of returning to Boro for treatment on his injury.Rumour doing the rounds now is that he took unauthorised days off after leaving AFCON with injury, and Carrick has refused to play him since.
