Townsend has started 15 of Palace's 19 league games this season and made 2 subs appearances.
 
So in summary, the only concrete names that we have just come up with (including corresponding shirt numbers) are

14 Jacob Murphy - from Newcastle
21 Josh Murphy - from Cardiff
23 Matěj Vydra - from Burnley
26 Steven Caulker - from Alanyaspor
37 Izzy Brown - from Chelsea

looks very much probable from what I can see. great work boys! you've saved the club 10s in facsimile cartridges and carbon copy paper.

I knew someone would say that, but he isn't a prem quality player anymore, he is the weak link in their side, and they are looking to replace.
 
I think the general standard of player's suggested on this thread is above what we will be bringing in - I expect it will be a fringe player from one of the newly promoted teams or similar.

Pretty much not getting my hopes up too much in other words.

Deadline is 1st February - so another day to wait no doubt....
 
I wouldn’t change the back four at the moment, irrespective of who is fit. I think Fry and McNair are playing well. I think we are crying out for someone who can hold the ball up and bring others in.
 
After tonight , Divock Origi will be available !
Not suggesting he is the player we have agreed on BTW .
A poster said , us or Milan ? He will go to Milan . The fact he played tonight , suggests he is not going to Milan , and as I said , not many players are flying out of the country .
Would I want Origi ? Yes . He would torture the championship with decent service .
Will we go for him ? Doubt it .

I reckon he is not in the mix Newy . Winger who has played CF .
The jewel always suggested it was a foreigner , which due to covid won't happen .
He has said he has his 1 st choice agreed , and a risk .
Soon find out .

I thought 'the jewel' might have been the gamble

one winger from the prem who has played for their club
another.. gamble could be 'the jewel' could be mendez laing
 
Well in 10 days time we will know, will we be happy or will we be disappointed.
It's being a number of transfer windows since we thought we would be happy so here's hoping.
 
Definitely happy with either Grosicki or Philips. It may explain the hold up that Grosicki has got some game time under Sam.

It could have been arranged prior to him coming in. He's a real class wide man 'stats' wise. He gets you 6-8 goals and plenty of assists.
