Lisa shaw died of blood clot after covid jab

A very slight one, almost exactly 24 hours after the first one I felt cold and shivery, went and had a hot bath and couple of hours on the bed (didn't bother with a paracetamol) and right as rain there after. Being of a certain age most of my friends have now had both AZ jabs without any reaction. My wife (working in health care) was sent to Jimmy Cooks and had the Phizer (she felt a bit under the weather for a day after the first one but nothing from the second)

We've both had the virus (back in October before it was fashionable) and they say (apocryphal) that you have more of a reaction if you've had the virus when you get the vaccine. Dunno?
Yeah I'd heard that one too about the reaction and previous covid infection. My first Pfizer jab I had a dead arm the day I got and the day after felt hungover all day even after drinking copious amounts of water and the maximum dose of paracetamol ☹️. Hopefully the second one won't have such an effect.

I just felt tired for a few days after the Pfizer one.

The first time I had a drink was about a week after my first jab, and then after that, I had a headache for a week.

Either I'm out of practice, or my hangovers are now going to be a week-long, going forward :ROFLMAO:

Poor fella, and poor lass , terrible thing to happen, even more so when someone is trying to do the right thing, and I don't disagree that there should be a choice of which vaccine to have, for those who are afraid/ hesitant.

But we have to remember that this was a 1 in 650,000 chance, and is still a better chance/ choice than getting Covid, which currently has around 2.5% of the North East population infected, or 1 in 40, according to the ONS, and that's still going up (extract from ONS below).

exactly it's terrible what happened, but perspective is important, the likelihood of a negative reaction needs to be weighed up with the likelihood of covid. It's no different to every other vaccine as well, I'd hazard a guess that people have died from every vaccine man has ever created, but a hell of a lot more people have been saved.

This is true bm but it's one of the reasons why vaccinations are optional.

On the whole you are much safer taking them than not, unfortunately not always.

But because we can never know if we are to have a reaction or not, and because of the massive bias to your own survival in favour of taking the vaccine.....but more importantly the massive impact you have on the rest of society for being too daft to not take one, well personally, I think we should ship the anti-vaxxers off to some craggy island to live, if they don't want to be responsible members of society by having a jab. But that's just my opinion

Indeed it is, just your opinion.
