Firstly, this isn't an anti Lewis Wing post - I like the lad, I think he has something but has evidently stagnated a bit and a loan move makes sense.
I don't profess to know the answer to how to get him moving again, but I thought his comments to the press on signing for Rotherham might indicate some of the challenge. I know fans want to hear a new player, motivated and keen to impress but he said
"I'm a good runner, I like to get all over the pitch....I like pressing and getting in people's faces...'
Which is interesting in that if you read feedback on here on his performances you often hear 'Cant run, doesn't get stuck in and can't tackle'. Maybe that is the issue, he doesn't acknowledge his own weaknesses and areas he needs to work on. I have managed people in the past (work not football) where that can be a major challenge. I hope he can get plenty of game time down at Rotherham and rediscover his mojo as I wouldn't want to give up on him just yet.
