Latte Lath - Friendly vs Union Berlin

I haven't seen this posted anywhere so I thought I would share. It shows his every involvement in a match against good opposition.

A few of the things to note:

He appears to have played up front and on the right during the match.
He won lots of free kicks by using his body well
He is rapid
He works exceptionally hard defending from the front
He is very direct
There doesn't appear to be much subtlety to his play (instinctive rather than clever)

From this small sample, he looks very promising!
From this very small sample it sounds like you have described Uche Ikpezu!

I watched a few of the Latte Lath compilations and I think he is genuinely two footed. He seems very natural off both sides. I watch a clip and think that he is working it onto his right foot and the very next clip he works it onto his left. Probably right footed but very strong with his left too.

That’s a great strength for a forward, defenders like to show players onto their weak foot, if you haven’t got one then that creates a dilemma for defenders

OK, pace of Archer, closes down from the front like Connolly did, shot power like Forss, that'll do for me.

Maybe lacks a little finesse in his shooting and dribbling, but plenty to work with there. We could have an absolutely rapid forward line, with more pace to come from the bench too if we complete our business as we all would like.

Connolly did not close down from the front well, I seem to recall Watmore buzzing past him to do the closing down regularly.

He looks physically ready for the Championship, which is the most important thing.

I'd say the same about Rogers too, but maybe not Gilbert or Silvera.

It's obvious why the club have identified him, he looks the perfect for a Carrick team.

agreed, good upper body strength, Silvera, agreed, needs a bit of work in the gym, but not far off. Gilbert not seen enough to judge.
