That is far too sensible for some to comprehend..........Probably right.......but on the flip side if £20m for Archer can be broken into 4 x £5m payments .....
With or without Compound Interest.Or 5 x £4M better still
Apparently there is no interest in this deal….. whatsoeverWith or without Compound Interest.
Or is it more of a hire-purchase agreement?
"Interest free" - no competition - sounds like the player for usApparently there is no interest in this deal….. whatsoever
More HP my sauce tells me
I have heard that this season our deals are negotiated using the new PAYS system. We have realised its really good value so far, it stands for Pay As You Score."Interest free" - no competition - sounds like the player for us
A ha. Back to the Victorian "Payment-By-Results" - that should save the club a few groatsI have heard that this season our deals are negotiated using the new PAYS system. We have realised its really good value so far, it stands for Pay As You Score.
I have no problem with promotion clauses for 3 or 4 players. Losing 5 or 6m in bonus payments on the way to the prem is just the cost of business and means our signings have been successful. As for sell on clauses, they help us keep fees lower, I'd never go beyond 10% though, and I would hope in 3 or 4 years we have enough money to pay more and not need the sell on clauses. So 4.3 million pounds
+ 1.3 million pounds if we get promoted to Prem
And 10% sell on clause
