They just don't suit folk who are used to Windows and don't really like change. Chromebooks are more like a high-performing tablet for folk who don't like tablets (ie want it to feel like a laptop). Yes you can do plenty of stuff on it if you know how, but I know you will just want a Windows PC that does all the Windows PC stuff. Ask my wife if you want her views... I begged her not to get one but she didn't listen and now she admits I was right (!). The bloke in the shop sold it to her on 'not having to update virus software' and I knew that it wasn't a worthwhile trade off.that's disconcertingly vague
As a result I basically got a free Chromebook all to myself.
