They should be further ahead if they were a decent opposition.
Its horrific to thank that after all the corruption, all the lies, all the propaganda and all the deaths that the Tories are still so close in the polls. Absolutely terrifying so many in this country wish their lives to be controlled by people who only care about getting money for their mates. Its crazyWhat can the tories do to turn it around.
some damage Johnson is doing
Maybe but I'm sure the new boss of Offcom will stop the media being too vicious and deceitful about the left.Plenty of mud to be slung Starmer's way in the next four years I expect
Yeah I probably have been a bit harsh. Are these polls conducted monthly? If so the next one will be interesting.I think that's a bit harsh: it's more than a 14 point swing in 9 months, and in fairness Starmer has only been in charge for about half that time.
I'd also think the swing hasn't ended yet; expect to see Labour pull further ahead in the net few months.
Pity there isn't an election really....
Numb nuts will be back on the after dinner speakers circuit long before the next electionI voted Tory but would never do so again under Boris leadership.
Not much to chose between the two parties at the moment unless Starmer gets in then suddenly moves left. At the moment he’s moved too far right for my liking, or most other Labour members. I don’t want a Blair MK11 government that’s just a bit paler blue than the ToriesIt always goes in cycles, Labour do very well considering the media propaganda machine always supports the Tories.
I think Johnson has been a surprise disaster for the Tories which has allowed Starmer to close the gap very quickly, even the Brexiters must be amazed at just how bad he is.
The Tories will regroup and change their leader ready for the next election but with what is happening just now I can see a Labour landslide if Starmer stays sensible and keeps sensible people around him.
You have to accept that the only way Labour can win an election is by having a moderate leader, so if you do want to win then it’s only a Starmer type leader which will be able to do it.Not much to chose between the two parties at the moment unless Starmer gets in then suddenly moves left. At the moment he’s moved too far right for my liking, or most other Labour members. I don’t want a Blair MK11 government that’s just a bit paler blue than the Tories
Remind me again...when is the next general election scheduled.?What can the tories do to turn it around.

Sad to say over the years I am gradually coming to the same conclusion. And to think where I started off with my idealistic state of optimism 40 odd years ago.I couldn’t bring myself to vote for any party atm tbh, I can’t stand any of them. This pandemic has shown me I just need to take care of myself and my own more than anything else.
As a long suffering Labourite I certainly wont be returning with that idiot Starmer
in charge of the Party
