What would really make a statement is if multiple MPs stood up and said the same thing in a session of Parliament and have a mass exodus.

What would really make a statement is if Starmer would call him out during PMQ.
Alexander de feffel did again yesterday when he said that if Starmer had his way we wouldn't be vaccinating because we would have been tied by EU rules.
The head of vaccination accreditation in this country has said before that this is incorrect and that the vaccines were accredited whilst we were still in EU.
Johnson yet again said it yesterday and all the little brexiteers lick his backside because otherwise we would not have vaccines.

Starmer should have come straight out and said Alex was lying and then see what the speaker said to that.

There's a similar kind of thing at play in the courts. Everyone has to pretend that everyone else is behaving in a good and proper way. But let's say the defence start shithousing and deliberately drop some evidence on the prosecution last minute. There is absolutely no way the prosecution barrister is going to go into court and accuse defence of shithousing even though everyone knows what is going on. I've always found it very public school. It's not the done thing.

"We all do it. We pretend to be respectable and proper people. But in reality we all *********. It's therefore not good and proper to call someone out for shithousing. As you call out one you call out all of us."

That's the mentality that's at play here.

This shows how out of touch that place is. Telling the truth and calling out wrong doing gets you ejected. Reform and modernisation in that place is needed. I used to respect Parliament and all it stood for, but now I wish Guy Fawkes and his mates had succeeded.
I feel an email to my MP and the Speakers Office coming on.

I kind of understand why its there, but it needs to be changed so that you can call it out if you can prove it in the HoP. If not, then yes, you should be ejected for frivolous statements.

Dawn Butler has been banned from the HoC for a day for correctly saying that Johnson is a serial liar.
This is the same punishment given to 5 Tory MPs found in breach of code for attempting to subvert the course of justice in a sexual offence case relating to another Tory MP.
