Labour MP asked to leave the HOC

Is this the mp who made it look like she was driving that car saying the police stopped her because of her colour but wasn't even driving? Most MPs are self serving lying scumbags and are as bad as each other.
No, she and a friend , who is also black were in a car, she claimed they were stopped because they are black.
They have both being stopped regularly for no apparent reason. Not something as a white person I have ever have happened to me

Shills still shilling.

Does it not embarrass you to have to make excuses for a lying cheating failure who occupies the highest office in the land? How much does Central Office pay you? In the great scheme of things what MPs have done wrong Dawn Butler has made a few minor misdemeanours compared with the abject multiple failures of Johnson. The expenses thing was how many years ago now? Yet it pops unbidden into your head when Johnson is shown for the liar that he is. If the Speaker had an ounce of pride in doing his job properly we would not have this happening but he was appointed to draw a blind eye to all this and he's doing a cracking job you can hardly see where Gove sticks his hand up his rrse.

Still, remember the time Diane Abbott drank an M&S Mojito on the Tube?

What a lucky escape we had there eh?
As he called Boris a lying scumbag does it not embarrass you to accuse him of making excuses for him. He is fairly pointing out the hypocrisy of Butler and I'm sure has not received a shilling from Central Office.

Apart from fiddling all of her expenses. Lying to her constituents about what her expenses were being spent on.

Oh and then there was the small matter of lying about who was driving a car she was travelling in last year, so that she could score political points from it.

Is that enough?

The point remains, that yes Boris Johnson is a lying scumbag, but just because she says it doesn't make her lies any better.
None of that is right.

I don't know, but I doubt it was a jacuzzi or £18k worth of food shopping. Not to mention the second home that she didn't need. Unless you think an MP should be claiming expenses for those things?

As said above, I agree with what she said yesterday, but some have very short memories.
Did she even tell her constituents what she was spending on expenses.

does it not embarrass you to accuse him of making excuses for him.
No.

Why would it? It has nothing to do with the incident in question other than trying to discredit Dawn Butler. A pretty decent demonstration of "ad hominem" wouldn't you say?
Did she even tell her constituents what she was spending on expenses.
Those "constituents" have since re-elected her. I'd call the matter closed. Do you have access to any of her school reports? There might be some really good stuff in there eh?

Regularly happened to me when I was younger & not driving like a tool - white & male...

I do think she was right to call Boris out as she did.... seems you're also not able to call any of the drunkards drunk in the HOC / HOP either... even when many will be steaming....

Oh FFS! Lying to the police and ripping off your expenses (which is illegal btw) is not the same as drinking an alcoholic drink on the train. Diane Abbot is a joke, but that is one thing I couldn't care less about.

Not sure why you think I am making excuses for Johnson, when I am clearly not. I haven't turned a blind eye to anything, if you actually took the time to read this thread you would see that. I can't stand Boris Johnson, he is probably the worst PM in my lifetime, and that is saying something. I am merely pointing out that the person calling him a liar, is also a liar.

Also, the speaker was following parliamentary process. Its not the first time an MP has been asked to leave the HoC. As said above, four times I think now, I agree with what Dawn Butler said.

Then why mention Dawn Butler's previous misdemeanour? As I said previously it is a perfect example of an "ad hominem" argument and has NOTHING to do with Johnson lying.

The Speaker has not done his job, on numerous occasions when Johnson has knowingly misled Parliament he has failed to make him issue a correction. I'm not arguing that the Speaker was not correct to order Ms Butler to leave the House, he was. He needs to apply the rules of the House to all members. THAT is his job.

Johnson's Lies (some of them)

I think it's fair if somebody is calling someone a liar they better not be guilty of it themselves. As vile as Johnson is.

Is it really news, one fibberator calls out another fibber? I guess the size of the fib matters as we all fib/meander/exaggerate a little - I'm thinking Sexless Babies/The Obamagate "letter"/Most Giraffes are gay ( made me laff that one)/3,000 rough sleepers in Brent) < word = input("Input a word to reverse: "for char in range(len(word) - 1, -1, -1):
print(word[char], end="") print("\n") >
Now where's my Central Office cheque?

Though the Gay Giraffe is more a Silver Hat thing than a Porky, mmm maybe add Sexless Babies to tin foil section - OK I'll let the 3,000 roughies be a mathematical boo boo.

You must be unlucky, never happened to me or any of my white family and friends, not even when I lived in London

I don't want to get involved in an argument over politics, I was replying to the principle of Randy's post which is totally right in my view.

It was the deputy speaker that kicked her out. Maybe she should a less corrupt than Hoyle and happy to apply the rules? Or maybe she’s also defending Alexander
