Labour canvassing at the door

I've just had a guy knock on the door canvassing for Labour. He mentions Anna Turley and I explain that I will be voting Labour but feel Anna Turley was the wrong choice. He looks over his shoulder and says "I've got to be careful of what I am saying, but I agree with you. As long as you are voting Labour though".

He obviously believes in her. 🤣 🤣 🤣

You're not going to get that honesty from the blue rosettes.

I had similar in the last local elections.

Spoke to the (new) prospective Labour councillor who knocked on my door. Told her Local Labour and our Labour MP have my vote.......but my vote wasn't for Starmer as I don't particularly like/trust him. She just agreed with me, said I wasn't the first to say it either.......

The only canvassing we have had in recent years was the Tories.

They asked the missus if she thought there was anything the current government could be doing better.

The missus said just about everything, where do you want to start?

Hopefully the grey vote won’t put them back in again.

I've just watched it again on the doorbell camera and you can see him look over his shoulder and step closer but the wind prevents you from hearing what he says.

Hmmm
Sorry!! I have zero interest in our Politicians, either Tory or Labour.... I just think theyare all dirty in the dirty game of politics!! Hmmm
Obviously a newbie, you accidently clicked on a thread titled Labour canvassing, and then accidentally posted on that thread despite having zero interest.

Plant-y more like.

To try and 'break the ice' mate there's nothing wrong with being Tory/Labour/LibDem etc - just a line that you aren't interested in politics , then only talk about politics on a Boro board seems very unusual - as @SmallTown said too

I'd love to hear your views on all things - in fact anything - Boro

Do you think our January business was good or bad? Do you think we'll make the play offs? Will we beat the Mackems on Sunday?
