Can't see them having the moral fibre to call an election - so it will be more Truss , or a rearranging of the chairs on the decks of the UK economy
Fair.In the same way I've defended you from the numerous and uncalled for shout outs from people on here, you shouldn't be doing exactly that to Fatcat. I disagree with him vehemently on all things political but there's its not justified to tag him in threads just to score points.
Letter from Truss to Kwarteng was signed by .... Kwarteng
Dohhh!! You couldnt make it up. If it was'nt so serious this whole thing would be absolutely hilarious!Letter from Truss to Kwarteng was signed by .... Kwarteng
qe don’t need Harvey Keital right nowI wonder how many Brexit voters can't draw a direct line.
Like it or not the reason we have this mob in power at all is largely due to a sequence of events precipitated by Cameron's attempt to solve the "Europ question" that threatened to tear the Conservative Party in two. It looks very much like he has just delayed the inevitable. So whilst these events are not directly caused by "Brexit" they are just part of the inevitable but avoidable consequences of that vote.If you conclude brexit is to blame for everything then you literally will not be able to interpret events as they happen
Give Bluey a shot. It's the greatest kids TV show I've ever seen. Hell I sometimes leave it on after the kids have stopped watching. What a show Ocotnauts is
Not eveything is because or even relevant to brexit
He's gone because he just made unfunded tax cuts and Truss then said in parliament she won't make any service cuts which shows that she is not inteligent enough to answer questions
Which in turn is part of the reason the Tories still know that their best bet is to remove her as well because as well as being dangerous to trust the economy she is still a liability

The last 12, actually.Utter, utter, utter incompetence.
The country has suffered massively under the complete shambles of Tory rule of the last few years.
The Tories have been in power for 12 years. Their ideology doesn't work so yes, I think had they had 12 years to govern then they would have ended up in this situation anyway. This is what happens with Tory governments if they keep going until they eat themselves. None of the recent catastrophic failures are Brexit related. They are Tory related. They have ran out of competent people, not that they started with many, so they are left with the dregs of the party. The half-sensible lot are staying on the back benches where it is safe.Could this have happened six years ago?
The episode with the flying fish with a Geordie accent is one of the greatest pieces of modern popular culture in existenceOh the pain of children growing up means you can no longer watch certain programmes. What I'd give to be able watch Octonauts or In the Night Garden, rather than listen to some loud mouth cockney opening fifa cards!!!
He would have no authority either from public, or tory voters to govern. Pressure would be enormous for a GE, failure to do so would lead to a view that they are clinging on against the public wishes and that is the death knell for themRumour is they intend to install Sunak based on him being runner up.

Truss took over and had 1 major issue to try and sort which was energy. She's ran full steam ahead with Tory 101 ideology and created such a trainwreck that energy doesn't even get a mention anymore.
*I'm assuming you mean could this have happened if Brexit hadn't happened rather than 6 years ago specifically.
