Spiritwalkertastic!!
I loved it too, until I met a fella called Philip Walker whose name alone hijacked it completely. 1st album still the best. Especially the accompanying Death Cult live album.
I saw them a couple of times, and yes Billy is indeed among the great rock guitarists. Ian Astbury used to be a very good frontman too, but bought into his own publicity a little too much. I might have to chase up that accompanying album on Spotify. After hunting some good food in the Boro tonight.
My favourite song by a mile ever. Nothing will ever surpass it in my list.

Nah, just hit post before I attached the song link.'Spiritwalker'?
Am very partial to 'Resurrection Joe' too. Cracking use of a whistle in there!!
I've seen Southern Death Cult (lots), Death Cult & The Cult.
And I'd rate them in that order of which version was best.

(I do like spiritWalker)
She sells sanctuary - editHa! Which song was it?
Listened to them walking round town this evening. The 80s were alive again. Even though the town centre was much much quieter,
Ditto DCI, got worse as they progressed in my humble opinion.I've seen Southern Death Cult (lots), Death Cult & The Cult.

That Sounds fantasticHaven't heard much of them tbh, saw Ian Astbury perform with Ray Manzarek and Robbie Kreiger at The Roundhouse in 2005 as Riders On The Storm and he was a great frontman doing Doors songs
