Joshua vs Pulev - £24.95 on Sky Box Office

I haven't paid for the last 3 or 4 fights I've been interested in - they've been on during the small hours, so by the time I wake up, there's the full fight on YouTube anyway

This fight does not represent good value for money IMO

My one experience of paying for boxing was for a Tyson fight 30 odd year ago - me and my dad got up at 5am after paying £x.xx .. and having the fight finish in about 30 seconds ..... no more.

They've gone down this road before where practically every other fight was ppv. Eventually people stopped paying and it went away for a bit!
I signed up to DAZN this weekend for £1.99 a month and in their upcoming fights for December they've got the GGG fight, Canelo v Smith and then Garcia v Campbell on 3rd Jan.

That’s the best deal around at the moment and you have no commitment. Imagine if you were elsewhere in Europe you would get the AJ fight included as well.
It will presumably go up overtime but great value at 1.99.

Is there is decent undercard, or is it a load of unbeaten prospects with less than 8 fights on their record, fighting journeymen.

This is the sort of fight I would go to a bar and watch with some friends.
Wouldn’t pay for it to sit at home and watch it on my own.

Anthony Joshua usually has decent undercards but this one isn’t great. Okolie was supposed to fight for a vacant world title but his opponent tested positive for Covid-19. The rest don’t stand out to me although there are some familiar names.
  • Anthony Joshua vs Kubrat Pulev (WBA, IBF, WBO heavyweight title)
  • Lawrence Okolie vs TBA (cruiserweight)
  • Hughie Fury vs Mariusz Wach (heavyweight)
  • Martin Bakole vs Sergey Kuzmin (heavyweight)
  • Souleymane Cissokho vs Kieron Conway (light-middleweight)
  • Qais Ashfaq vs Ashley Lane (super-bantamweight)
  • Ramla Ali vs Vanesa Caballero (featherweight)
