Joshua vs Pulev - £24.95 on Sky Box Office

£24.95 is around half the cost of what most people pay for illegal streams for a year.

Any wonder why illegal streams are so popular?

£24.95 for that fight is a disgrace.

Wait until it’s Fury v Joshua that will be thirty quid I would have thought.
Eddie Hearn making no apologies about the 24.95 price point - with one fight off due to covid I don’t think it’s worth the money. I normally religiously pay for these but I think I will look for a stream next week. This is part of DAZNs launch in Europe and all other European countries get the Joshua fight (assuming you are subscribed to DAZN 1.99 per month) For that reason I think there should be plenty of streams available. If not I think it’s the first one I may give a miss and just follow it on the radio.

Wouldn’t watch it if they fought in my back garden. Could possibly justify it for a top fight but certainly not this one

My old Dad God rest his soul used to say something similar about the Boro.

"If they were playing in the back garden I'd close the curtains" :(

I'm not one for advocateing illegal streams.... Its pricing like this that makes me think feck um👍

The current climate were you can only watch sport on TV its shocking. Also let's not forget the majority of people who will want to watch this probably already play for sky sports.

I've never paid for a PPV. I find it stunning it's not included in my sports package.

I'm the same, not paying extra when i already pay for sports.

If only everyone could get organised and for a couple of fights hardly anyone bought them...

They'd at least have to revise the figures, i'd probably pay a fiver for a ppv fight, and this fight is hardly worth that.

I'll give it a miss ta. Not Joshua's biggest fan to begin with and let's face it, it's gonna be another pretty routine win for him.

😴😴

Stopped paying for fights ages ago... they are no where near the entertainment they once were and the costs are just getting to stupid levels.

it’s all going to come crashing down soon enough

The only way to show discust is for people not to pay. Unfortunately I'm confident any real boxing fans will.

If people pay then they will keep doing it. Imagine if practically no one payed and they lost a fortune. It's the only way sky and BT will revise pricing.

I don’t oppose PPV in principle but I only pay for fights that match my perception of value.

At some point early next year I’ll no doubt have some company trying to convince me to watch Floyd Mayweather Junior batter some chump off YouTube who has barely boxed before. If that is priced at around the £20 mark then it’s no wonder this is £25.

Don’t pay it if you don’t want to - simple solution.

It’s all relative I guess..... The Floyd Mayweather vs Logan Paul exhibition is being staged by Fanmio on PPV. Website says price is $24.99 for early buyers, but will increase to $39.99 after one million PPVs sold, then increase again to $59.99 on Dec 29th, then one last increase to $69.99 on Feb 11th.

They only charge it as they know people will pay it. US ppvs are notoriously high, add in the YouTuber celebrity element and the world has gone mad. On the one hand I say good luck to them on the other hand you just think it must be so frustrating for “real” boxers - we hit a new high earlier this year when Billy Joe Saunders was on the undercard of one of their fights - how can that be! Say what you want about BJS in terms of his private life ( and maybe he’s not the best example to use) but he is an elite professional who has won it all through the amateurs and is current world champion - he has dedicated his life to the sport from a very young age Yet he plays understudy to some fellas who do god knows what on YouTube- world has gone mad!
