Josh Coburn

Far too many other variables for that to mean anything whatsoever.

Of course, as always, you know better than the recruitment and management team at MFC though. What a plonker 😂
Three others at least seem to agree.
That you use the word plonker tells me what you are.

He's started 11 league matches and we have 23 points from them.
The headless chicken without a brain has started 10 and we have 7 points from them.
Get Coburn fit.

It is remarkable the club signed another AM in the window, but no striker given the only two they have are injured.
Brainless.

Had a significant impact on the Huddersfield game when coming on just after half time too. Just my opinion but if Josh had been fit and our number one choice from the very start of the season, we'd be comfortably in the play off positions. We can't judge him whilst he has an injury.
I agree we should have signed a striker, but don't agree ELL is a headless chicken. I think he'll come good for us.

He really really looks like he shouldn't be playing currently, or for the past monthish.
I'd rather stick Silvera or Greenwood up top , than have him out there like that.
Tbh , if we weren't his hometown club, he wouldn't declare him self fit.
He was full of energy, aggressive, powerful in our best run of season.
Nobody liked playing against him, and our team looked in sinc , front to back.
He now looks like a boxer , where you'd wish the trainer would throw in the towel , to save him from himself.
He's a talent, probably with too much goodwill for his own safety right now

Can you put this in comprehensible English please?
What don’t you understand? We didn’t sign a back up striker in the summer window, or in the January window and ultimately that’s what is costing us. Not sure how you don’t get that from the post

Well I think we try to balance the squad by having 2 players for every position.

We had Lath and Coburn to play the striker role… plus Forss. It’s just bad luck that Lath, Coburn and Forss were all injured at the same time… and when Forss was eventually fit, both Jones and Silvera were injured / unavailable so he had to play RW. We can’t have 4 strikers in the squad for one starting position, just on the off chance

He is a young lad, technically not the best player in the world, but strong and awkward
to play against. He is an option albeit if he is fit, which he clearly isn't. He has scored a few goals this season, but our lack of attacking options are obvious to see and have been all season. If he isn't fit then he shouldn't be anywhere near the bench. Give someone else a chance..... Greenwood did well today, but Forss's finish.....take a bow son.

Forss is really a RW, we were about to loan Coburn out before the season started but had to keep hold of him as we couldn’t sign another striker. He isn’t anywhere near good enough for a team chasing promotion. Lath probably isn’t either and the fact he was signed having never played at this level was another reason to sign another striker to cover while he adapts to the game.
Now Lath is injured for weeks and Coburn is still a league one player who is also injured as well

I feel a bit sorry for Josh, he has an unfortunate gait akin to the sugar plum fairy, but that is possibly down to his hernia injury.
