Johnson's BYOB Party Invitation 🤣

I am outraged that every time he opens his mouth another lie pops out and that so many of us believed him but why the need to show a cartoon picture of bodies in the No10 garden.

Hewie - Each to their own.
I believe it's called 'cut through'. It's the stark, unvarnished, inescapable truth; Boris on the **** while the bodies pile up. He doesn't give a Donald Duck. Carefully argued leaders in the Times etc are all very well but hardly anyone reads them. This should be on the front page of every newspaper.

..........and no credible "opposition". (n)
Oh there is a perfectly "credible" opposition led by a decent man in Starmer. He may not have all the policies that you might want from a Labour Leader but the line that he is not "credible" is spun straight out of Tory Central Office. He has exposed Johnson's lies time after time at PMQs but Johnson simply spouts a new lie when the last one is exposed as long as the useless Speaker will not get Johnson to correct his lies this will go on.

Do I detect slight tongue-in-cheek there pet?;)
In my view a "credible opposition" doesnt refer specifically to the Labour Party, but includes SNP / Greens / Lib Dems / DUP / Monster Raving Looney Party, et al.
"Opposition" being a generic term.
Good morning Comrade btw.(y)

It's very hard to oppose a party with an 80 seat majority who's leader has gone against every standard former PM's stuck to. We are in new territory.

With the Fixed Term Parliament Act there is no way to force a GE. We are totally at the behest of the 1922 and the Conservative Party membership.

And they call this a democracy?

The Matthew Parris piece in the Times on Friday is total dissection of the reality of what Johnson is and the scars, he literally leaves on those that he “collects” and then discards.
If you can get the through the paywall.
It was up on Twitter for a short time Friday morning.
Could you copy and paste for us?
