Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink

I am full of admiration for his determination to work hard at the lower levels of the football pyramid. He seemed very popular the last time he was at Burton. We played them in a cup match at the Pirelli Stadium and they were really difficult opponents and the crowd were so up for it. Great to see Jimmy making such a success of it.

Woodgate should have tried for him as his Assistant, instead of that Joker Keane, may have even been able to improve Assombalonga & Fletcher's finishing, although even Guardiola might have work cut out with that pair of Donkey's. Would have liked to seen Jimmy offered the Manager's job here in the Summer, if Warnock walks away, given Hasselbaink's broad football education & the amount of top football coaches to have come out of Holland in the last 40 years . Although looking at Neil's recent comments in the press I'd put money on him staying

I think he is out of contract June , so we could get him in this summer either as Assistant to Warnock , or Manager with Neil taking an advisory role .
Warnock leaving his legacy of saving us from Relegation and stabilising this season , and helping set us up for the future . 👍🏻
Sharon would be happy , he eases his way out of the pressure , but still has an interest .

Nice idea, SR but would Neil agree to working with another manager? And would JFH agree to play second fiddle for a season?

Who knows Grumps , if I was SG I would be putting a longer term plan on the drawing board now , and the fact that JFH could be available and is doing extremely well in a league where we may be shopping in the future , it seems to be a good fit .
Does SG and JFH get on ? Will SG fancy it ? He makes the decisions , but I think this is a great opportunity to build the future and fill the fans with hope .
JFH has done his apprenticeship , now could be his time to shine . He would get my backing 100%
One of the very few names which excites me .

I would also add , Neil could do the proper scouting , going to matches as Advisor .
Jimmy could concentrate on getting us up , and ask Neil to scout our next additions , which could even be from Holland , where Jimmy has contacts , and we cherry pick the best from there
A long term plan , Warnock s expertise and knowledge used to build the clubs foundations and future . And Sharon gets her weekend breaks 👍

Do you think Warnock at 70 plus will want to drag his @rse up and down the country watching players
